String Source / Philharmonia Australia / Leah
Starting out as an agency booking string quartets, STRING SOURCE rapidly expanded to become a portal which sources larger ensembles and musicians of all descriptions.
In 2008, STRING SOURCE officially launched PHILHARMONIA AUSTRALIA.
PHILHARMONIA AUSTRALIA is an orchestra of the highest pedigree. Its core players hold principal positions in the country’s major symphony orchestras and its foremost chamber ensembles and are among the most respected and established session musicians in the musical theatre, recording and TV industries.
Whilst primarily comprising of members who represent the elite of the classical scene, each of its members are adept in a large variety of genres. This makes the orchestra ideal for commercial work and unique collaborations.
Whilst extremely disciplined and professional, PHILHARMONIA AUSTRALIA maintains an energetic enthusiasm and prides itself on being adaptable and versatile.
A dynamic ensemble with an emphasis on polished presentation, it offers a truly refreshing take on the traditional image of a symphony orchestra.
