Five members of the STRING SOURCE team collaborate with the Australian Ballet for “Bodytorque.Muses” at the Sydney Theatre. They perform “Tristan and Isolde” by choreographer Daniel Gaudiello, under the baton of Sarah-Grace Williams.

Leah provides a solo violinist to perform alongside ballerina Gina Brescianini for a media launch at the Sydney Dance Company. The event launches the “Black Swan” DVD and Blueray and the performance features the famous dance solo from Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”.

A quartet of STRING SOURCE players perform in full period costume for a masquerade ball at the Sydney Town Hall.

In Melbourne, 14 STRING SOURCE musicians record the sound-track to the movie-length documentary “Life Before Death”. The sound-track was composed by Adam Starr and the movie is produced by Moonshine Productions.

Leah performs at the Melbourne launch of Natasha Solomons’ latest book “The Novel in the Viola”. She plays a piece commissioned especially for the occasion and composed by LA film composer Jeff Rona.

Leah provides strings and a trumpet player to perform with UK act Belle and Sebastian in each city on their Australian tour. The players have a ball and get to play great charts with the lovely folk in the band. They grow especially fond of the recorder solos! The show tours to the Golden Plains Festival in Victoria and is met with an extremely appreciative  the crowd. Many people in the crowd adopt the Golden Plains tradition of raising one shoe at the end of the performance to indicate that the band was their favourite of the festival.

Leah and her team work on exciting new acts and concepts and create a new website.

PHILHARMONIA AUSTRALIA teams up with “The Beatnix” to entertain Crown Casino’s Signature Club VIPs in the Palladium, Melbourne.

The STRING SIRENS return to their regular week-long engagement at the annual Lord Mayor’s Christmas Parties in Brisbane.

A trip to Australia would not be the same without working with Leah Zweck
and the fine musicians she sources.

I have had the pleasure  of working with Leah in her capacity as musician and fixer many times and have always been so impressed by her musicianship and work ethic.

She is a true professional and a pleasure to have on tour.

She makes sure the whole touring party is happy, both on and off the platform.
