KIRSTY has enjoyed a remarkable career which has included performing on a regular basis with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg and winning positions with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra and the Munich Philharmonic in the same week.
Currently Principal Second Violinist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, she is also a member of Europe’s Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Australian World Orchestra which showcases exceptional Australian musicians who have achieved great success on the world circuit.
KIRSTY performs as concert master of PHILHARMONIA AUSTRALIA and held the position of Assistant Concert Master with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for several years.
As a child, she represented Australia performing at the UNICEF Danny Kaye International Childrens Awards. She made such a lasting impression on host Audrey Hepburn that the two became friends and kept in regular contact in the years that followed.
Pop artists KIRSTY has worked with include Mike Patton, Kate Ceberano, The John Butler Trio, Guy Sebastian and The Whitlams and she performed as a Principal Violinist on the sound-track to Baz Luhrmann’s “Australia”.
