A quartet of STRING SOURCE musicians are delighted to return to their annual engagement at The Brisbane City Council’s Lord Mayor’s Christmas Concerts. The concerts run for a week and are again hosted by the hilarious Paul Dellit.

STRING SOURCE/PHILHARMONIA AUSTRALIA provides musicians (including tenors and solo violinists) to perform with Delta Goodrem for a series of performances throughout Australia. The engagements include several charity balls, a Channel 9 special event and the opening of the new Hilton Hotel on the Gold Coast.

November 2011, Sydney, Melbourne – STRING SOURCE tour with “Way To Blue” The Music Of Nick Drake
A section of STRING SOURCE players tour with the show “Way To Blue”, a tribute to the music of Nick Drake. The tour includes sold-out dates in the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Recital Centre and the shows are produced by Joe Boyd with Kate St John as musical director. They perform alongside some legendary UK artists including Lisa Hannigan, Krystle Warren, Robyn Hitchcock, Vashti Bunyan, Green Gartside, Scott Matthews, Danny Thompson, Neill MacColl, Zoe Rahman and Martyn Barker and Australian artists Luluc and Shane Nicholson.
